Telkom CEO Sees Sale or Listing of Towers Unit This Fiscal Year

Telkom’s plans torealise value from portfolio of mobile masts is far advanced, CEO Sipho Maseko says in phone interview.

* Listing or search for equity partner are the two main options
* South African company also looking to separate the openserve division and attract third-party capital
* Looking to grow data center, cloud businesses
* NOTE: Telkom earlier set medium term targets of mid-to-high single-digit growth in both revenue and earnings
** Telkom to review last year’s decision to scrap dividends; will report back at interim results later this year
