Nigeria to Start Stock Futures Trading With Dangote, MTN, GTBank

Nigerian stock exchange to start derivatives contracts in seven equities as it seeks to deepen the market, increase liquidity and enable investors to mitigate risks, it says.

* Development follows approval from the Securities and Exchanges Commission
* Bourse will host futures trading in Access Bank, Dangote Cement, Guaranty Trust Bank, MTN Nigeria, Zenith Bank stock and in NGX 30 Index Futures and NGX Pension Index Futures, it says in statement Monday
* Exchange last month registered NG Clearing to facilitate transactions; engaged JPMorgan and CBOE Options Institute to train staff
