Liberty Latin America Sells Cable & Wireless Seychelles

Liberty Latin America Ltd. (LILA) said Tuesday it sold a subsidiary, Cable & Wireless Seychelles, its sole remaining asset outside the Caribbean and Latin American region.

Liberty Latin America said it sold the company to a consortium of local investors in a deal valued at $104 million.

As of June 30, Cable & Wireless Seychelles served 23,500 fixed subscribers and 76,000 mobile subscribers, the company said. Liberty Latin America said proceeds from the sale are slated to be used for general corporate purposes. Source: Bloomberg
