Botswana State Phone Company Plans November IPO

Initial public offering for 44% stake in state-controlled Botswana Telecommunications Corp. to be held Nov. 7, Transport and Communications Minister Nonofo Molefhi tells reporters.

* Govt plans to retain 51% of the fixed-line monopoly;
* Will publish prospectus within 2 wks w/ IPO offer price;
