The project, whose start date has not been unveiled, aims to replace 150 kilometers of hydraulic pipeline of the old network in order to provide the neighborhoods of the capital with infrastructure that will promote more water supply in the area. city.

In addition to the ADB-financed project, there is also the construction of a new water treatment plant with the support of the pan-African industrial group Eranove. This plant will generate 140,000 m 3 more water per day.
